Atlas volume holds 88 plates (on 87), including map, 15 color plates, and 11 tinted plates. Light to moderate dust smudging and spotting to title pages and front matter, other, generally light, dust smudging to edges of text leaves and plates, a few early leaves in each volume with minor chipping at fore edges. Tall set, complete with half titles. Ex-library: perforated stamp on each title page, on the last index leaf of volume 1, and the last leaf of the "Table des planches" in the atlas volume; ink stamps on first introduction leaf in volume 1, on page (1) in volume 2, and the first leaf of "Table des planches" in the atlas volume, labels on front pastedowns. All plates (including map) free of library markings.
