With hand-colored frontispiece and 80 plates (70 hand-colored, some heightened with gold and silver), 19 hand colored initials heightened with gold. Internally generally clean - scattered mostly minor spotting and dust smudging, cello tape repairs to a few text leaves - mostly at back of volume 2. Complete with half titles. Ex-library: perforated stamps on imprint of each title page and last letterpress leaf in each volume, ink stamps on dedication in volume 1 and on page (1) in volumes 2 and 3, labels and other markings on endpapers. Plates bright and clean and free of library markings.
