Canvas is lined; varnish layer is significantly discolored, with areas of darker staining in the upper left corner; significant deposits of surface dirt and dust throughout, with debris trapped between the stretcher and canvas; scattered areas of inpainting that present as a lighter blue are visible throughout under normal viewing conditions; one small  repair that has caused a slightly raised area in the lower right corner is visible under raking light. Under UV, greenish varnish layer obscures most viewing of possible inpainting; however, aforementioned areas of inpainting that are visible under normal viewing conditions are also visible under UV light.
