Framed: 49 3/4 x 35 inches.
Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is wax-lined; network of craquelures throughout, which appear stable, accompanied by corresponding inpainting; stretcher bar marks extending along the left and right edges, also with inpainting; one repaired tear in the left of St. Nepomucene's chest; inpainting also visible around inscription in the lower left corner; a small, diagonally raised impression in the center. Under UV light: a thick, greenish varnish layer obscures older inpainting; more recent inpainting located in the aforementioned areas; areas of inpainting along the upper edge; two larger areas of inpainting along the upper right edge, as well as a smaller spot of inpainting along the center right edge; additional small spots of inpainting scattered throughout.
