Paint in original, untouched condition. Some minor surface wear and imperfections as would be expected with age and use, including some small chips and paint wear/losses around the edges of the case. Some scratches to paint on lid. Left hinge reset. Bottom of case slightly warped so that there is a slight gap under lower drawers. Retains original knobs. Chest and drawers retain the interior lock mechanisms.

He began his career working for a prints dealer focusing on works from the 16th through the 20th centuries.
