Ms. Vogelpohl joined the firm in 2013 as a cataloger in the American and European Furniture and Decorative Arts department. She became a department specialist in 2017, focusing on American decorative arts and silver. She received a BA from the College of Charleston and an MLITT in Art History from the University of Glasgow.

Found at a farm sale in Michigan.
In overall fine and structurally stable condition. Appears to retain the original surface, with rich, dark color. Appears to retain the original leather upholstery, hessian backing and straw filling. Scuffs, marks, rubbing to patina and scratches consistent with age, use and handling. Rubbing to the surface of the front stretcher turnings. Areas of cracking and loss to the leather upholstery. There is a 1 1/2” x 1/2” triangular patch at the top of the proper-left, upholstered back support.
