Having a square top with melon reeding and a centered chased floral and foliage medallion above four tall straight legs mounted with elephant heads and foliage festoon on a footed circular base.

By tradition, a custom made piece given as a wedding present to Howard Augustus Smith and his bride, on November 11, 1895 from Mr. John Gorham who was a personal friend of the family.
