Mary Ann Goss, the daughter of Nathaniel D. Goss and Thankful Forbes, was born in Huntington Mills, Luzerne County. In 1854, she married Reuben Gearheart, also of Luzerne County. They had five children. Mary Ann Goss is buried in Scott Cemetery, Huntington Township, Pennsylvania.
