A prolific writer of legal texts, Troubat is best known as the co-author with William W. Haly, of The Practice in Civil Actions and Proceedings in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, in the District Court and Court of Common Pleas for the city and county of Philadelphia, and in the courts of the United States (1837).
