Cameron Burnside (1887-1952) Portrait of George Wharton Pepper (1867-1961)

Pepper was a member of the Philadelphia law firm of Pepper, Bodine, Stokes and Schoch, now Pepper Hamilton. He was the Algernon Sydney Biddle Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania from 1893 to 1910, and a University Trustee. Pepper was appointed U.S. Senator in January 1922 and was elected for the term ending in 1927.
