What Do You See? The Collection of Sidney Rothberg, Part I

In overall good condition. The work was painted on wood, and we notice slight horizontal craquelure/contractions  in the wood in the upper portion of the work (not continuously spreading). With light scuffs at bottom right, in the corner. Same at bottom left corner (scratches spread in a radiant, but to a minima). Examination under UV light reveals many fluorescing highlights, most of which are on the figure's body, and due to the pigments used by the artist (the purplish areas match the paint color variations and are spread). We do notice however some minor, scattered dots of inpainting elsewhere: see at bottom right quadrant as well as at bottom center, in between the figure's legs, in the background. Small repair on the man's hair at upper center left as well. All very minor. See Specialist's pictures.
