With a painted polychrome dial inscribed, attributed to Spencer Nolen (1784-1849) and Samuel Curtis (1785-1879), Boston, MA, the case attributed to Joseph B. Barry (1757-1838), Philadelphia, PA; sold together with a silver teaspoon made by Weatherly, marked.
H: 97 in.
An extremely talented artisan, David Weatherly, Sr., was a brass founder, silversmith, clockmaker, and accomplished gardener. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Beaver Meadows Railroad running through the Lehigh Valley.
