清同治七年（1868）絳紅緞綉賀壽圖大挂屏

Dated the 7th year of Emperor Tongzhi (1868)

The center of the panel worked in multi-color threads depicting a busy birthday banquet with figures at various tasks, enclosing long inscriptions sewn in gold-wrapped thread, the top register decorated with a writhing dragon flanked by a pair of flying phoenix, the lower end with fu lions playing with brocade balls, the short borders decorated with phoenix and cranes amongst blossoming branches, all reserved on a bright burgundy ground.
