Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; pinpoint paint losses along the extreme upper right edge; one hairline, faint scuff mark in lower right corner, as well as two pinpoint off-white paint droplets, above the signature; two pinpoint abrasions to the paint in the lower left corner; areas of inpainting visible under normal viewing conditions along scattered areas of the edges and within the background. Under UV light: the aforementioned areas of inpainting fluoresce; as well as inpainting within the hat, nose, hands, and areas of the suit of the doctor; highlights within the boy's face have been strengthened, and exhibits inpainting within his hair and both hands.
