the stone of a celadon tone with russet veinings, carved to depict a recumbent fu lion with finely detailed eyebrows, ears, tufts and tail, the forepaw resting on a brocade ball with its mouth bearing the ribbon tied to the ball, its cub resting aside also bearing ribbon and facing a standing robed bearded male figure.
