Scratches to the shank consistent with light wear. Electronic gold tests for 18 karat. The ring is an approximate size 5. It is the opinion of the gemologist that the ruby is East African in origin with evidence of heat. Condition of ruby (graded in setting): Some abraisions to the facet junctions consistent with light wear. There is a cavity on the pavilion near the girdle. Diamond characteristics (graded in setting): Color: G/H Clarity: VS Minor chips to baguetees consistent with light wear.
