really impressive display overall, with mostly bright surface, but with some occasional areas of persistent tarnish commensurate with age and use, bearing some silver polish residue to undersides (mostly to base); center basket: with some occasional bending or dents, and a couple minor splits to reticulation, one scroll to side handle is bent with a slight crack at impact (does not pierce through), some spots of oxidation, particularly to one side of body and underneath one side handle, some minor dings or scratches to well commensurate with age and use; one small handled basket: base / feet with dents, one area of loss, and split; another small handled basket: handle slightly misshapen, underside with dimensional dab of solder to center, and dent to underside where foot meets base (raised into well); small dishes with minor occasional dings or scratches commensurate with age and use; one detachable branch (supporting a dish) with crack to arm, possibly reinforced, but presently stable; base: some foot ends bent slightly upwards, with three feet having splits or cracks, one slight crack to underside of scrolled leg where it meets reticulated section, a couple solder reinforcements or repairs to splits and/or breaks to foliate apron, particularly to end of one section, with a few additional cracks along edges of other foliate sections, some occasional minor dings or scratches commensurate with age and use; each detachable branch is number and matches the engraved numbers on the base; each piece marked with at least one silver mark (maker's mark, standard mark, or city mark), but apparently no pieces bear a date mark (the date given was provided by the consigning institution), and some pieces marked with all three marks
