Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is unlined; network of craquelures throughout the surface, most prominent within the sky; slight overcleaning along the tree line in the center left, as well as in the water above the waterfall; under a moderately discolored varnish. Under UV light: strokes of inpainting through the upper center of the sky; several lines of inpainting in the mountain, above the tree line in the center; one small dot of inpainting along the lower left edge, as well as few small dots of inpainting in the water in the lower left corner.
