Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust, with heavier deposits on the verso; canvas is unlined; instances of drying craquelures in scattered areas, primarily concentrated within the white, light gray, and dark blue pigments; a few spots of gold paint along the extreme edges from the frame rabbet; otherwise appears in overall good and stable condition. Under UV light: four areas of fluorescence within the upper registers of the flowers, however, these areas appear to be either black paint or areas that were not varnished; additional areas of fluorescence along the edges, also in areas where varnish was not applied and likely not to be inpainting.
