Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; panel is slightly bowed; horizontal craquelures throughout, a result of the bowing wood; pinpoint paint losses scattered through the upper center and along the right, with one small paint loss along the center left edge; a line of lifting paint in the upper right corner; a horizontal line of inpainting to address a crack extend through the center and is visible under normal viewing conditions; three vertical lines of possible inpainting in the upper center, only visible under raking light; a milky area of discoloration in the upper left corner, also only visible under raking light; moderate frame abrasions along all edges; pinpoint brown and black spots scattered throughout the surface; under a very discolored varnish. Under UV light: the thick varnish layer fluoresces green and prohibits viewing of any inpainting; pinpoint stains fluoresce but do not appear to be inpainting.
