The mirror is largely original condition but the mirror plate is probably replaced despite showing signs of age, and the back panels behind the plate are modern replacements. The proper left dog has a break in its tail and a break in the foliate trim, intact but loose and presently held with tape. Minor older repairs to the leafy crest, the dogs leads, the proper right dog's tail, and the proper right foliate ear. Scattered areas of faintly overpainted gilt. Age cracks, flaking gesso and gilt, and worm holes as is normal. Ready to hang after minor repairs for stability. Additional images are available upon request.
