Having a yellow-brown finish throughout suggesting case was refinished/cleaned in the 20th century. Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. Areas of lifting, peeling and loss to veneer, some pieces of veneer retained in drawers but not all accounted for. Some veneer reattached. Hardware replaced. The doors with more pronounced bubbling/lifting to veneer. The proper left door with a larger age crack running vertically through center panel. The proper left door with a crack to upper right corner and restorations to hinges suggesting the door might have fallen off and was repaired, presently firmly secure to case but does not sit flush to side and the moveable posts that hold the door close no long align with the hole carved in the top of case.
