Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined; passages of the canvas have been pressed due to lining process; instances of overcleaning scattered throughout; pinpoint paint losses scattered throughout; a repaired L-shaped tear with visible inpainting in the lower right, approximately 2 x 2 inches; a vertical line of inpainting extending along the majority of the right edge; very small spots of inpainting in the woman's nose, as well as additional small spots of inpainting throughout her body. Under UV light: in addition to the aforementioned areas of inpainting visible under normal viewing conditions; there is a larger area of inpainting within the woman's lap; a horizontal line of inpainting along the lower edge; possible inpainting within the leaves of the upper background; and additional small spots and strokes of inpainting in the lower background.
