The canvas is not lined. The paint surface is vibrant and under a slightly soiled varnish. Network of craquelures throughout surface, with pigment separation visible to the naked eye beneath the figure's face at center to the left edge; canvas is worn along stretcher edges. Under UV light, retouching visible in woman's right palm near wrist, beneath proper left eye, in lips, and in hair at upper center and right. Additional images available upon request.
