The front of the door with drip marks and signs of recent exposure to moisture or humidity. The door frame with cracks along one of its inner edges, probably from where it was pried out of the wall that held it recently in the consignor's home (now demolished). A section of base board missing from the bottom edge of the frame. Other small chips and dings throughout the carved details of the frame from age and handling/moving. The door was purchased from a dealer in London; name unknown.
