The frame with several broken and detached elements; some are present and could be reattached. The paint surface with losses to the edges consistent with contact with the frame. Several areas of flaking to the paint, most significantly on the right side of the canvas One scratch in the paint layer in the upper right quadrant of the scene. Scattered craquelure throughout. Several areas of inpainting. The central large painting depicting a religious scene with a large area of in painting visible under black light examination. Canvas is lined.
