Incudes a winding key and a case key. The chronometer takes a wind, and the second hand subsequently begins to tick. It appears to run, but has not been tested for timekeeping duration or accuracy. The bezel/glass can be twisted as if it to remove it, but there is likely oxidation to the threads making it quite difficult to turn and it cannot presently be removed. Small chips are visible to the edges of the glass. The case is sturdy, with old scuffs and nicks as expected; the brass mounts with a verdigris patina. The case's lock is functional.
