This table bears some striking similarities to a tea table illustrated in Joseph K. Ott, Rhode Island Furniture 1730-1810:The John Brown House Loan Exhibition of Rhode Island Furniture May 16-June 20, 1965 (Providence: The Rhode Island Historical Society, 1965), pg. 36-37, pl. 32, including the finely fluted shaft and generously proportioned tripod base.
