wonderful presentation, the wood grain with strong figuring and the veneer retaining nice color; evidence that these were once card tables, with fly and leg mounted to frame, and the top secured to base, each with later veneered strip to underside of back of frame- each would have originally had a flip top as well; with minor occasional losses or mends to veneer, including splitting to one end of demilune to one table; both tables with separately pieced board along back edge; the tops with some typical signs of wear commensurate with age and honest use, including some minor scratches, and darkened marks or small spots of fill
