smaller bowl: with a small chip along rim, a faint hairline crack along rim, generally with some occasional loss to gilding and enamel commensurate with age, the interior well with some a spidering hairline crack and some light surface wear including a couple minor scratches, the underside of bowl appears to have a darkened hairline crack, but mostly obscured by old collection label for Tom Persons, Atlanta, Georgia; larger bowl: with a faint hairline crack along rim, with two areas of retouching along rim, revealed under UV light- possibly repaired chips, overall retaining most of the enamel decoration, with minor occasional loss to decoration, particularly to gilding along base edge, and to decoration to interior well (especially yellow fruit)
