This piece is very stable and sturdy, and very functional. there does appear to be evidence of securing or reattachment to the two left-facing feet, both with possible spliced repairs; the back left-facing foot with slight gap at seam, revealing a doweled reinforcement; overall with nicely polished and rubbed surface, displaying typical signs of wear commensurate with age and use, including some scuffing, small knicks or losses along veneer edges; the upholstery is modern, but nicely done and overall clean and presentable
