stable and sturdy; with mostly even surface throughout, having a waxed finish; bolection drawer with replaced bottom board; most of secondary wood to drawer sides and bottoms is oak, although some drawers have pine bottoms, and one drawer appears to be completely rebuilt from pine with simple nail construction (no oak present); brass escutcheon to door is replaced; feet appear to be ok, consistent throughout, the front right-facing foot with a repaired break along front; one small molding to front with small loss along bottom edge; backboard of case possibly replaced, although exhibits old nails; includes a key which does function
