Estimate$300 – $500
Framed: 32 1/2 x 29 inches.
Paper is toned with light and time. Some light scattered spots of foxing are apparent. There is texture and crinkling to the paper, which appears to be in the making - there is a larger, more noticeable diagonal crease at top left corner. There is an L-shaped slice to the extreme left edge of the paper, near center, under the black ink. There is a very small area of rubbing with associated loss (<1/4 inch) to background above monkey's tail, to the right. See Specialist photos for details. There are also pinholes present at all four corners. There is a small area of discoloration along bottom edge, in left corner. Work has slipped slightly from top hinges and is gently resting along bottom of frame - please note that the piece appears to be stable.
