Boris Aronson was a visionary American scenic designer whose work transformed both Broadway and Yiddish theatre with its bold innovation and emotional depth. Over the course of his illustrious career, he won six Tony Awards for Scenic Design, crafting iconic sets for productions such as Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, and Company, and leaving a lasting impact on modern stage design.

The drawing was not examined out of the frame. The notebook paper is toned and has a line of discoloration at the top edge where the page was torn from its notebook. There are losses to the bottom two corners and a few small tears at the corners and at bottom center. There are other small tears at edges and top, the largest approx. 1/2 in.
