The painting is in overall fair condition. There are a few small areas of inpainting, for instance to the right of the figure's arm, at the inside corner of the bench at right and at the inside of the bench at left. These areas are evident under UV light. There is some wear to the edges of the board where it comes in contact with the frame, and there are associated surface losses there. There is some craquelure evident throughout, particularly in the trees and green areas at top left and at right. There is another small area of loss at bottom right in the gray/beige ground, adn one at top left in the green. Scattered surface soiling is evident in the lighter areas throughout.
