Mountain Scene I: signed Dr. Atl and inscribed indistinctly (lower center)
Framed: 15 x 16 3/4 inches.
Overall fair condition. Paper is toned with light and time and appears very fragile. Tears present to top two corners of varying degrees. Several scattered spots of discoloration, including at bottom right and left corners, in margin. Some spots of probably foxing also apparent - for example in a cluster in swirling cloud near top of mountain at center. Hinged to mat with pieces of adhesive verso. Framed: 15 x 16 3/4 inches.
Overall fair to poor condition. Paper is toned with light and time and appears very fragile. Several creases, some with associated losses, of varying degrees throughout. For example, there is a diagonal crease running centrally through the majority of the work, with some loss towards the mid-line. The most noticeable loss (approx. 1 1/2 inches) is just above this, in the body of the mountain, near the top. Several scattered spots of discoloration- majority is clustered around base of mountain. Hinged to mat with pieces of adhesive verso. Additional images available upon request.
