Good condition overall, with typical signs of normal use. Faint scuffs to the silver, areas of mild tarnish, and some fork tines ever so slightly bent out of alignment, but an overall attractive presentation. The blue enamel lining of the salt cellars is in good shape. The caviar knives' blades (made of horn) are slightly yellowed and show modes wear due to age. The service was likely assembled over time but is very cohesive. It is presently housed in a six-drawer chest, but the items are loose within the drawers; there are no cloth pouches or other protective wrapping present. The chest's drawers can be somewhat difficult to open and close.
