The marble tops with the roman numerals 'III' and 'IIII' carved into underside, the tables with script letters '3' and '1' on interior of body sugeesting the marbles are original but one of the marble tops was switched with another table in a larger original set. The marble tops with some old restorations, the marble top marked 'III' with a recent approximate 6-inch break to one corner. The stretchers to top of frame likely replaced. The gilt decoration is professionally applied but is not original with some flaking areas with exposed gesso and base wood. Each with holes drilled into bottom of apron at front suggesting they might have had an applied drop-element. Additional images available upon request.
