Framed: 47 1/2 x 37 in.

Canvas is lined, with passages of the canvas having been pressed due to the lining process. Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust. A network of hairline craquelures throughout, with a horizontal craquelure extending through the center. Buckling to the upper left corner, accompanied by several lines of whitish residue. A small paint loss in the center left, within Delilah's neck. A few white paint droplets in the central woman's face and shoulder. Inpainting is scattered throughout, but it is difficult to discern the extent due to the thick and highly reflective varnish. Under UV light: the varnish prohibits viewing of any apparent inpainting.
