In overall good and ready to install condition. The wiring is currently cut, so lit photos in the condition images utilize a flashlight and natural light.

Approximately 5 tiles, mainly along the border, demonstrate hairline and small cracks not readily noticeable. The top surface of the shade has some grime and surface dust that could benefit from a cleaning. Underside with a brighter tarnish to the metal, likely gold that is dirty. A few areas of hanging soldering to the inside. Otherwise intact with a variety of artistic mottling and rich coloration to the glass.

The metal components with surface tarnish, and the brass ceiling cap a later replacement.

Ward brings over 20 years of deep and wide-ranging design experience to this role. Before joining Freeman’s, he worked in the Design department of a prominent New York-based auction house focused on in 20th-century furniture and design with a particular interest in European furniture from the second half of the 20th century. He also co-owned and operated Full Circle Modern, a successful vintage design store in Brooklyn specializing in furniture from the 1960s through the 1980s.

Mr. Ward also has a broad background in real estate, as an appraiser, broker, rehabber, and investor.
