Note from Tim Corfield, antiques advisor to Betty and Gordon Moore at Mountain Meadow:
Obviously country made in the early 18th century but this chair has a lot of charm. The old needlework cover is beautiful with particularly bold floral decoration, and it was this which really drew Betty to the chair.
Seat Height: 16 inches.
Seat Depth: 18 inches.
In overall decent condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. The upholstery dusty, would benefit from a cleaning prior to use. The back legs with restorations.
