Shipping & Packing (Chicago)

PLEASE NOTE: Freeman's Chicago office now only offers in-house shipping services for its Jewelry & Watches auctions. Property for all other auctions is handled by third party shippers arranged by the buyer. If you have questions about the shipping process, Freeman’s is happy to assist you in making your arrangements.

There are two facilities in Chicago where property may be located depending on the nature of the property and the auction in which it was offered. Before making your arrangements, please confirm with our shipping team where your property is located by emailing [email protected].

All property must be removed from our premises within thirty (30) days following the last day of auction. Freeman’s reserves the right to charge storage fees or to deliver said property to a public warehouse for storage at the purchaser’s expense. (Please see the Conditions of Sale)

Below, is a list of third-party shippers who can assist in providing shipping for items won at auction for all other departments or in getting consigned property to Freeman’s Chicago location. If you are arranging for a 3rd party shipper to collect on your behalf, please ensure your shipper can collect your purchase expeditiously, to avoid incurring storage and handling fees.

We require written authorization from the client to release property to any third party. You may email a Shipping Release Form to [email protected].

The pick-up addresses are listed below. To serve our clients better, we request 24-hour advance notice prior to your collection at which time we can confirm the location of your property and answer any questions you may have:

If you are collecting yourself, please note you are responsible for packing & bringing your own packing materials for any/all property getting collected.
