Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; one very faint abrasion to the varnish in the upper center, only visible under raking light; a series of horizontal hairline crack in the paint throughout, but not detracting from the image itself. Under UV light: a small area of inpainting along the lower portion of the woman's chin and jaw; small spots of inpainting within her proper left sleeve and skirt; a thin line of inpainting along the extreme upper left edge; areas of inpainting within the background, primarily in the curtains above the woman's head, around her proper right hand, and the center right; one small area of inpainting in the lower left corner.
