Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined; very minor craquelures to the left of the woman's head and in the upper left corner, only visible under strong light. Under UV light: varnish has been selectively cleaned around the signature; small dots of inpainting within the back of the chair, the woman's dress and hands, as well as the proper right page of the book.
