Overall stable condition and ready to hang. The glass appears to be original; it has a mottled, cloudy appearance, with some darker spots indicating loss to the silvering, but is still reflective overall. The gilding is old, but likely not original. Several instances of flaking and loss to the gilding, with exposed gesso in a few areas. The small spherical elements are all present. There is a partially obscured maker's label to the reverse for William Gould and Son, London.
Diameter of mirror plate: 16 1/2 inches. Depth of frame: 3 inches.
