refinished, but with nice even surface throughout, exhibiting wonderful figuring to mahogany; slant front with some patches around hinges and lock plate, as well as a patch around lock slot to top; finely worked and carved fitted interior, one portion of a single mahogany divider is presently detached, but could be reapplied; right-facing side with later wood section along back edge, and with round plugged area; the left-facing side with repaired break upper back edge; each drawer face with various mends or patches to edges or molding; front base molding along left-facing side with replaced section, and a mended break along right side; left-facing side foot facings have both been reattached, with pins / plugged holes present, the front left-facing foot facing also with repaired break along bottom; the right-facing side of front foot facing with replaced wood section along bottom half; brasses are period, and there is no indication of additional screw holes; accompanied by two keys
