The relined canvas in generally fair to good overall condition with much of the canvas, including in the sky and in parts of the figures, having very fine craquelure fill. There is restoration along the left edge of the painting and more prominent restoration along the bottom of painting at left near corner and to the right of the corner. Additionally, there are areas of scattered retouch. Apart from areas of the figures in which there is crack or fill, and in some cases, very precise retouch, generally there is not wholesale restoration to the figures or to the statue and pedestal in column at far right.
