Appearing in overall stable condition. The upper section of the desk with losses to the veneer along to top edge. The plaque on the proper left top door has a minor chip to the edge which is not immediately noticeable. The upper doors each with an age split visible when the doors are open. One drawer in the upper section of the desk has a loose handle in need of repair. The surface of the desk with horizontal age splits in the veneer consistent with age. The desk drawer opens and closes smoothly. There are a few minor losses to the veneer along the bottom of the legs, near the feet. There is a key for the upper and lower locks. The lock for the cabinet doors is stuck in the "locked" position and is in need of repair. The gilt mounts are rubbed and oxidized throughout. Additional images are available upon request.
